Description
The Stockholm University is a city university which operates in close co-operation with today�s society � both from a local and an international perspective. The university offers undergraduate and graduate education as well as research within four faculties: humanities, social science, law and sciences. Research is mainly directed towards basic research, but also applied research. Undergraduate education consists of around 800 courses within some 80 subjects, and around 3 study programmes. The number of students is around 33,000. Stockholm University has a modern campus with an inspiring and pleasant environment stimulating study, research and academic achievement near Stockholm city.
This atmosphere is enhanced by the university�s unique status as the first seat of learning to be located within the boundaries of the world�s first National City Park.
