Stockholm Information Service, SIS (Sverigehuset) has provided authorised Stockholm guides for private persons, companies and tour operators. There are currently around 300 guides who have a command of 26 languages between them. Authorisation requires excellent foreign language skills and thorough knowledge of the Stockholm region and Swedish history. Authorised Stockholm guides share their knowledge of everything from walks around certain parts of the city, museum and study visits, to sightseeing tours by bus. Many guides, moreover, have specialised knowledge in fields such as architecture, music, ecology, technology, theatre, urban planning and the art of the Stockholm underground system. Through guide and group booking you can also book tickets for regular boat, bus and sightseeing trips. In addition, we arrange car, minibus and bus bookings. |
