Authorised Stockholm guides
No one can present Stockholm better than our authorised Stockholm guides. Choose between 30 different languages and a large number of subject areas. Prices from 1,250 kr/group 3 hours. (Minimum fee, with res. for changes 1999).

Taxi guides
Would you like to see Stockholm comfortably and effectively? Choose an individual tour with a taxi guide. An authorised taxi guide can guide and drive you according to a fixed sightseeing programme or wherever you desire. The taxi guide can tell you about sights worth seeing and guide you in certain museums. Our taxi guides speak 10 different languages. Price: 480 kr/hour (first hour, then 420 kr/hour), max. 4 people.

Authorised archipelago guides
Archipelago guides will show ‘their’ islands, guide from boats and tailor-make arrangements and theme excursions to suit your wishes. They are highly qualified with a good knowledge of languages, so you can really experience the archipelago. Price approx. 375 kr/hour, incl. VAT plus 150 kr booking fee. The entire booking fee will be donated to the environmental conservation project: Levande skärgårdsnatur (Living archipelago nature) which for example works to protect sea eagles and seals.

Wine-tasting with the Marquis in Tyresö Castle

Wine-tasting in a grand castle milieu. Take part in a wine-tasting with expert guidance in the lounge room of the Tyresö Castle Restaurant. Round off with a wonderful castle dinner. Accommodation is available in the youth hostel, Prinsvillan, approx. 200 m from the castle.

Art for all tastes
Follow us on an exciting visit to two of Stockholm’s newest and most interesting cultural centres. The tour starts at Skulpturens Hus, our new sculptural centre, located in Nobel’s beautiful red brick factory in Vinterviken. You will be given an exclusive tour and a delicious, light lunch. The tour will continue to the adjacent Färgfabriken, a contemporary art laboratory for all tastes, with a showing of the current exhibition.
Price: 1,300 kr/group plus 170 kr person incl. showing of Skulpturens Hus, showing of Färgfabriken and a plate of Italian delicacies. 120 kr/person for showings and coffee with baguette.

Party with Viking Eldskägg
What do you say about a genuine Viking party with abundant food and mead in the house of Viking Eldskägg? Sit comfortably in fur rugs around a flaming fire in a traditionally built nave. Eat, dance and hear the legends from Tor and Oden’s time. The whole eventtakes 3 hours. Accommodation is available in Nynäsgården for those who wish to stay.

Price: 720 kr/person incl. Viking banquet and mead. Transport, fire-eating and Viking battles can be arranged. Accommodation in double rooms: 499 kr/person incl. breakfast.

Fishing safari in the Nynäshamn archipelago
Stay in the Archipelago Hotel and experience Stockholm’s southern archipelago from close quarters. An exciting fishing adventure together with Nynäshamns Fishing Guiding in pursuit of the big fish. Full or half days. After the fishing tour, a warm bubble bath and sauna await you. Finish the day off with a night’s accommodation in the idyllic Skärgårds Hotel. An enormous breakfast buffet will be waiting next morning.

Dramatised bus sightseeing

Masquerade
Gustav III, doubtless one of the greatest Swedish kings. Charlotta Rosencreutz, daughter of one of the ladies-in-waiting who witnessed the King’s birth. Hear her exciting stories about Gustav, as a public child and as the adult king. The narrator wears clothes that are typical for the period. Short musical feature.

Ghosts and voices from the past
A piece of Stockholm’s history from a different perspective. The haunted castle, Brunkeberg, Riddarholmen, Katarina, the former Galgbacken in Stigberget and Gamla stan. Hear stories about superstition, witch-trials, executions and people that walk again continue to haunt.

Back to the 17th century
Stockholm’s time of great power, during Karl XII’s reign. Grand buildings are erected over shabby wooden hovels in the shadow of yet another war. Overpopulation and misery. The memory of maimed soldiers and crowded streets. Restrictions have been placed on everything. Except for the courage of the widow Catharina Sophia.

Stockholm, 1899, as seen through the eyes of telegraph operator, Anna Amalia Dahl. Wholesale dealers and maids. Rich and poor. Söder’s wooden houses and Strandvägen’s palaces. Revolutionary times with constant new inventions. Stockholm’s Exhibition, 1897. A town in total transformation.
