The SIS information section services the media both in Sweden
and abroad. In 1997 SIS met with 800 international representatives of the
media. SIS creates programmes, organises meetings, issues permits, books
guides and attempts to satisfy the demands of the media as much as possible.
Journalists who have contacted SIS are continually provided with news and
information about events through our Newsletter, in order to keep them up
to date on everything happening in Stockholm. Press releases are sent to media contacts throughout Scandinavia. On the Kodak Photo CD
there are a hundred photos of Stockholm available for publication. SIS also publishes
