Stockholm has an extensive and well-organised public transport system as well as numerous companies providing private transport services of all kinds, from vintage trams and steamships to horse-drawn carriages. Transfers to and from Stockholm Arlanda International Airport
There is a coach service to and from the City Terminal located next to the Central Station in Stockholm every 5-10 minutes. The transfer takes 35 minutes. In 1999 a new high-speed rail link will open, reducing the transfer to 20 minutes.
Taxi and limousine services are, of course, available at fixed rates. To avoid any misunderstanding, please ask the taxi attendant for a taxi with a fixed airport transfer rate.

Travel within Stockholm
Stockholm has a well organised public transport system comprising buses, underground and commuter trains. The special Congress Card enables participants unlimited travel on the public transport system in the Greater Stockholm area during their stay. The price of a card is SEK 30 per day (1998).
