Stockholm Information Service (SIS) is the City of Stockholm and the County Council of Stockholm's organisation for provision of information and marketing of Stockholm and its surroundings. The business mission of SIS is to increase the number of visitors to Stockholm, to market and create a market profile for the region and to develop and improve Stockholm as a tourist destination. The main target groups are the holiday travel market, business travellers, congress delegates and incentive visitors.
Congress Stockholm is the official convention bureau of Stockholm.
Congress Stockholm co-ordinates the marketing efforts of the City of
Stockholm and assists meeting planners in staging international
conferences, congresses and corporate meetings in Sweden's capital city.
SIS target markets are located around the Stockholm region, throughout Sweden and abroad. SIS has some 50 employees at the Sweden House on Hamngatan 27 and five tourist offices in and around Stockholm.
