The Modern Museum
The Modern Museum reopened to the public in February 1998. Situated on the island of Skepparholmen in the centre of Stockholm, the new building was designed by the award-winning Spanish architect Rafael Moneo. Now, for the first time ever, the museum has the space to show its fine collections of international and Scandinavian 20th century art, photographs, film and video. The collections are regarded as some of the most important in Europe.
